proposed cooperation protocol between Afrophilic Agency and Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams university

A Promising Partnership Blossoms: Afrophilic Agency and Ain Shams University, Faculty of Agriculture Join Forces

The stage was set at the Agrina 2024 exhibition, held at the Cairo International Exhibition Center from October 10th to 12th, 2024. It was here that Afrophilic Agency, a leading Agricultural and livestock agency, first crossed paths with the prestigious Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University. This initial encounter sparked a connection that would soon evolve into a promising collaboration.

The seeds of partnership planted at Agrina began to sprout on December 22nd, 2024, when the first official meeting took place at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University. The gathering brought together key players: Dr. Salah El-Safty, Head of the Poultry Department at the university, Samir Eissa, the CEO of Afrophilic, and Mohamed Ammar, the company’s legal advisor. The meeting was meticulously coordinated by Islam Mahfouz, a dedicated teaching assistant at the faculty.

For nearly three hours, the discussions flowed, ideas were exchanged, and a roadmap for collaboration began to take shape. The outcomes of this pivotal meeting laid the foundation for a partnership poised to drive innovation and progress in the agricultural and animal husbandry sectors. The meeting highlighted the following key points:

  1. Joint Efforts: Both parties expressed interest in working together to enhance research, development, and investment opportunities in agriculture and livestock, particularly in poultry production.
  2. Services Exchange: Afrophilic Agency and the Poultry Department will provide mutual support in areas such as technical expertise, training programs, and knowledge sharing to promote sustainable agricultural practices.
  3. Strategic Goals: The collaboration aims to boost Egyptian presence in Africa, particularly in Tanzania, by identifying and facilitating investment opportunities in the agricultural and livestock sectors.

As a result of the meeting, it was proposed to draft a formal Collaboration Protocol outlining the roles and responsibilities of each party. This protocol will serve as a foundation for future joint initiatives, including research projects, training workshops, and investment facilitation.

The proposed agreement reflects the shared vision of both Afrophilic Agency and the Poultry Department to contribute to the development of Agricultural and livestock sectors in Egypt and Tanzania, while fostering stronger economic and scientific ties between the two regions.

This marked the beginning of a journey that promises to yield remarkable results, blending academic expertise with industry innovation for a brighter future in Agriculture.
