Afrophilic Agency

Afrophilic first approach :

In 2025, Afrophilic Agency Limited had the distinct honor of launching its operations in the United Republic of Tanzania.

a key strategic move aligned with our long-term vision for regional integration and pan-African economic empowerment. For Me as the CEO, it was both a personal and professional privilege to establish our presence in such a dynamic and high-potential market. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to advancing South–South cooperation, promoting African-led investment frameworks, and enabling inclusive, cross-border partnerships that strengthen the continent’s internal economic ecosystem. We believe that African solutions must be driven by African expertise and ownership and this expansion represents a tangible step toward that aspiration. Through this endeavor, Afrophilic aims to serve as a model for sustainable, intra-African business development that is rooted in shared values, local insight, and collective prosperity.

3. Afrophilic’s Strategic Engagement with Tanzanian Fertilizer Regulatory Authority TFRA to Explore Fertilizer Sector Opportunities in Tanzania.

At the beginning of my visit to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, I made it a priority to visit the headquarters of TFRA, given its critical importance in our target sector of chemical and organic fertilizers. I witnessed firsthand the strong interest of fertilizer companies in investing in this field especially considering that, in 2024 alone, Tanzania imported over 840,000 tons of fertilizers from more than 13 different countries, the majority of which, unfortunately, were outside the African continent.

Some insights and behind-the-scenes details from my visit to TFRA.

During my visit to TFRA, I met with a group of officials who were highly welcoming and professional in their discussions with me. They emphasized that despite the large volumes of fertilizers currently being imported into Tanzania, there remains a significant unmet demand especially for urea. This indicates a strong investment opportunity in the sector, driven by the country’s growing agricultural needs. At Afrophilic, we take full responsibility for supporting our partners throughout this process from registering your products and importing them into Tanzania, to marketing, reaching the final customer, and ensuring reliable after-sales service.

4. Afrophilic in Tanzanian Veterinary Laboratory Authority TVLA

At Afrophilic, what matters most to us is contributing to the development of scientific, academic, and research cooperation in Tanzania, in collaboration with the country’s official institutions, and connecting them with Egyptian research centers operating in the same fields. We were warmly received by Dr. Zacharia Makondo, Director of TVLA, who was exceptionally courteous and professional. We discussed several key details during our meeting, and he provided me with a comprehensive overview of the authority’s activities and its veterinary specialization. As an outcome of this meeting, it was agreed that Afrophilic Agency, specifically through its R&D Unit, will prepare a proposal for cooperation with TVLA.

5. Afrophilic Visit to the Egyptian Embassy and Commercial Office in Tanzania

It was a great honor for Afrophilic to visit the Egyptian Embassy and the Commercial Office in Tanzania. We were truly delighted by the warm welcome extended by the Egyptian Commercial Counselor, Mr. Wael Aref. I would like to sincerely thank him for all the support and appreciation he showed during our meeting, as well as for the numerous recommendations he provided to Afrophilic regarding Egyptian companies seeking to expand into the Tanzanian market. We hope to live up to his expectations.
